    225 Opti miss

I am running a 2001 225 OPtimax. I have been experiencing an intermittent miss lately. This occurs mostly at part throttle and not all the time. When it does happen it is only a few times a minute. ??? Also on start up once in a while the motor starts at a high rpm?

Need to get a scan tool on it and check for codes.... miss could be a coil, coil driver, injector or spark plug..... or cracked reed.

Plugs first ir tips like to break. If you're running over 89 octane its carboned up more then likely. Filter cloged. Electronic. Loose plug wire. Bad power pack. You can shotgun parts at the thing. Drop some murphys in the gas and oil or seafoam ect. Plugs are the easy check. Plug wrench and time.
