optimax 250xs
I am considering twin optimax 250xs. 2006. My marina complains about excessive noise. Will these be much louder than 4 strokes. Do they smoke?

I have a 250 xs they aren't any louder that a 4 stroke. Very little smoke if any. They are a nice motor and good on fuel also.

If they can't handle the noise shouldn't be in business. Have a cop buddy decibel gun the marina.
Quiet and and no smoke they can stink though. They will smoke some trolling the ECM will go on a oil binge every once in a while.
