    The core is all covered!
The whole boat bottom shell is covered with DB1700 to seal the core.
Will start on the stringer lay out and front bulk head tomorrow.

Just think how young you will feel laying down some fast passes in rock solid rig that you did your self. Hard parts all but done. Keep up the good work.

That's what has kept me going for almost a year now.
I am only building the boat so I have some thing to hang the eng on.
When the boat is done I will post the eng build up on this thread also.
Starting with a 240 Sport Jet block. Have the liners pulled now to do the port and timing work.
Have a 7 petal carb intake for it.
Can not wait that's when the fun part starts for me.

Doing a nice job on the rebuild. Should last forever. That 1st ride will make you smile for days......The stupid part of me wants to do another rebuild, but the old man pains I get from a hard days work bending over working on a hull or glassing on a deck tell me I really shouldn't.

Looks great! I say throw an extra small bulkhead up in the bow and forget the airbox but thats just me cause I would toss stuff up under there like life jackets and stuff and it will keep em from sliding out plus more foot/leg room. Then again I am 6' 2" so I will take all the leg room I can get. Looks awesome though. Cant wait to see it all done.

ID:	315281Got all the bulkheads laid up and center stringer box in.
Will clean it up and drill two holes from the side sections in to the center box section for water drains.
I have a 1" hole in the back of the center section for a drain plug. There will also be a hole drilled in to the front bulkhead to drain the front box section.
When the plug is in it will make this all flotation.
Getting close to setting the top on to fit the last parts.
I will set two side brace that will tie into the transom and the box sections built in to the splash well. Thy will be L shaped and form a set box with a cross piece at the front.
The 16 gal fuel tanks one on each side and the batt in the middle in front of the center knee braces.
Well time to set the floor. hate to cover up all this work. LOL

I have bin doing some measuring now that the floor is set.
I have ordered two blank 10 gal fuel cells in opaque so I can see the fuel level.
I will put one at each side of the boat in the wing sections.
I have orders the fuel pump Carter P4389.
I have a Racor 120R-RAC-01 fuel filter that I will use.
the filter has two inputs so I will hook up one line from each tank to the filter.
Also got a bypass regulator to put after the pump and T off the return to each tank.
Each tank will get a remote fill cap to the top side.
I am thinking of using Optima 6V 800 CCA batt. one on each side. The combined weight is about the same as one 12V Optima 800 CCA.
