    If a stock Bridgeport can push my Vegas to the mid 90's, I hope it could push a lighter boat to 100. The setup factor is hugely important, particularly with the YT, since it has more wetted hull surface area.

    Mine is just an old tired 2.4 200hp fishing motor nothing special and I would say it would get it done if I had a set big enough to hold to it it has been mid 80s plenty of times with two people and 28gallons of gas with a worked over 26 chopper re pitched to 28et I just dont have the nerve or the desire I dont know enough I guess or care I still havent hit a buck in my procomp yet and im real sure it will do it as I had it at 97 and just let off as I am not ready I guess im just a big chicken lol

    But it does run great ive got either 10 or 12 inches of setback and a bobs lower not even sure about the height of the prop shaft I got up and looked at it one day when my wife was driving and the water was breaking just under the point on the nose cone

    My current 2.4 on that hull is only setting back about 5". The compression is good and even though. Thinking about getting the heads done for a little extra. Maybe set that one up the bet I can and see how far I get. Finishing a bobs cone for it as well. Guess I should do a leakdown on it before doing the heads.
