Viper finally runs over 100! 102 something?
I've recently switched from a 2.5 - 200 to a carbed Bridgeport & finally ran over 100 this morning! I'm still running the 32 Mazco cleaver @ 7,000. I'm thinking about going to a 30 cleaver to get this bp a bit more into the power range. It's been a struggle getting this viper over 100, but fun! Still side steer, with full stock interior. Sean

Wonder how many actual gps documented vipers are running over 102? I think Ronnie hit 106 or something with a 280? Too bad your gps only shows 3 digits when it hits 100, you might have been closer to 103 than you know. We both know that motor is really just starting to spin up at 7k and you need less pitch to get it there, you prob could have hit 103 if you had more room and it wasn't that rough, so an early morning, windless run is needed soon. I know i would be very happy with the combo you have right now, as would most every other viper owner. Yours still has the old school clamshell and the boat is prob one of the nicest left, great color too.
