Info on Bullet Boats inc of NJ
Hi guys,
Anyone have an old brochure or info on a 1985 20 Bullet Center Console, the Bullets that were built in NJ in 1980s, not the bass boats.
Looking for fuel capacity, hull weight, and max HP.
Thanks

Contact Tim Sharkey www.sharkey-images.com , he was involved with building them and than bought the molds for the 13' Bullet. I think Sharkey's dad has a 20 or 22 Bullet center console. He will certainly know the answers to your questions!

Does any one know if the owner of Bullet Boats Inc is still in NJ. I had a few questions as to build, and power for the 20cc. I did a search of the manufacturers prefix buo and came up with. The phone # may be old and not current.

M-11 , I just came across this thread in a Google search.
T DeAngelis no longer lives in NJ, last I know he lives in Florida and has been off the grid so to speak....
I am just starting to restore a 20 CC now...

M-11...I have a 20cc that I have almost finished restoring. I've been through it front to back on all new mechanicals and wiring so I have seen more of the boat than most people have. Only have some minor gel coat/finish work to do and she'll be completely reborn. Very familiar with the boat...ask away and I'll try to help.

I have a 1987 Bullet 20. I bought it with 175 Merc and trailer for a grand. Took it to a fiberglass shop and had new closed cell stringers, floor and Coosa Board transom installed. Also added cross frames fore and aft of the fuel tank compartment. Put in new composite fuel tank. Replaced the motor with 150hp Etec. Raised the center console making room inside for a head. Put the head door on the front of the console. We have used it for about a year now. The radically reversed chines are amazing. In a breezy 2-3 foot chop the boat takes zero spray on board. Zero! It tracks perfectly straight running diagonally across the chop. Whoever has this mold should start producing them again. I talked to Tim Sharkey when I first got the boat, he's a great guy and very helpful. Plus he looks out for disabled vets of which I am one. We need to form a Bullet owners club, but there are only about five of us

Converting my 20’ CC to a 22’ Closed Offshore Deck
Photos of the progress: https://www.timsharkey.com/20-bullet-restoration
I just had it at the NJ State Marine Police over the weekend for inspection as it will now be a custom home built boat per the NJSMP.
