Being I bought my 20' Glastron from there right after Irene, I think it is time to bring it back down and join in watching the fast boys go by.

We apologize for not running fast, you had a lane open for us but word was not passed on to the lead boat that we could.

I know we were bummed. We had it all cleared with the cops. I told them that mornig to expect a fly by.
I also heard you guys partied pretty heavy on friday night and who ever it was that told me said you guys canceled the run to Albany. Hey maybe next year ? I am thinking of moving our event to 3rd week in July ( maybe) Even at the speed you went the non Boater Spectators loved it.

Yahh, Friday night was nuts, I am glad I do not drink much but I am not used to staying up till nearly when I get up in the morning.
Our big delay in getting on the water was one guy could not get away till Saturday morning so we waited for him. He was the 32 Baja up front that I was riding with. I had not realized that he was unaware that we could fly by, he started backing down as we approached and I signaled him to keep speed up. After we were by I told him you were waiting on us. I expect the crowd would have loved it had we been running 70+ instead of 50 or so and could have been tight together.
On our southbound run I was shooting video and never noticed passing the club I expect it was right about 7pm or so, I know we were running a pretty good speed all the way down, it was a 66 or 68 average.
I expect the two STVs were possibly flying by at way more than that.

    Charlie North

Over 400 is a good turnout with the amount of land you are on, nice. The yellow STV running with us will top 120, not Saturday on the northbound. Never saw him southbound, they scooted long before we were running. All the small boats in our group are 90+ runners, maybe next year. There was talk of it this year but we got going way too late.
