Denny beats up the top of a shortened mid trying to take the frozen on adapter plate off.The mid,by the pics,is damaged at the mating surface at the top...couple chunks knocked out.Mid is otherwise functional looking, faired in and intact, dull paint.Denny contacts Noah, who agrees to repair the damage.Noah repairs the damaged top flange of the mid...does NOT shorten the mid,and returns said mid. After careful reassembly mid falls in two during tank test vibration.Close examination reveals very poor workmanship/welding,at the union of the top and bottom halves of the mid...an area and effort Noah had nothing to do with. However, because the mid was repaired by Noah it's all his fault. We are starting down a slippery slope when we blame someone for something they had no direct responsibility for,and are setting us all up for trouble.Seems that in today's litigious society someone has to be held accountable for anything that dose'nt go well,or as expected.Well,Ive learned to expect the unexpected on my way through life,so if you want to be sure of something either learn to do it yourself or go to someone you have faith in.Look, listen, ask, read, and make up your own mind.
I wouldn't mind knowing who shortened that mid...Chris
The only person work on the mid is NOAH LEGEAR, he cut the damaged top of in the middle an put on another one , can't get any clearer then than, seem you saying that someone else work on the mid alsoClick image for larger version.

If they can't weld any better than that I'd be shocked if they actually got the top and bottom squared up

its a shame this is how this is working out.. there aren't a ton of places that make one off stuff, hulls or do this type of work.. Eagle one provides a wide spectrum of services, it just would be great if it was a better demeanor with the customers and obviously better quality in some areas.. Hope this all gets straightened out.. there are 3 sides to every story but I think the pictures in this one kind of paint a vivid picture

I can't believe you would trash talk this poor chimp like that with no proof. He might be a much better welder than a lot of the humans out there doing marine repair work. Maybe we could have a welding competition to see.....

My apologies to the monkey. He probably could do a better job than that.

There you go again insulting. A Chimpanzee is not a monkey. Monkeys have tails. Chimps, Apes and Orangatanes do not and have a higher intelegence level. Thus can probably weld better than some humans.

My thoughts exactly ,its because of threads like this that no one wants to do custom work anymore,
and yes, there is different sides to a story.
