Just picked this up last week. Was running a forward facing t - rammed 440 mopar that is gone along with all its gear. What I did get though is a 1969 Hallett hull with a hall craft 10* box (gears unknown as of yet), 1350 driveshaft, all the water, oil and fuel plumbing in braided and AN, dual side dumps (but just one is plumbed), oil cooler in the intake, auto meter oil press., oil temp, trans temp, water temp, fuel press and tach. Stringer reinforcing on both sides, down pedal, polished SS tanks, all polished and anodized billet (only the steering quadrant is cast) brackets and hardware. Steel Menkins 11"X15 two blade RH screw on 1-1/8" shaft. No brass or bronze gear anywhere. There is A LOT more goodies in this thing than I will spend time listing here! I would have loved to see this thing in its day but it is still in great shape and should buff and polish up nicely. Now I am just chomping at the bit to get it in the water! I have a well warmed over 287 Chev, a radical t-rammed 301 chev, or a t-rammed 383 mopar to choose from at the moment, but considering a 427 chev that I have to put together. Probably gonna do the small chevies with and make my own plates and covers. Just need a water pump, headers and FRONT PTO to get her up and goin'! I own a custom car shop but all of my fab equip came out of a custom river boat shop along with all their material, jigs and templates!

Drag it over to Mike Minegar's Body Shop there in town and let him look at it with you. Brainstorm it with him, and I think you'll find the BBC is the way to go to move that thing over the lake properly- torque is king. Mike's dad and family have been v-drive boat dealers in the past and have forgotten more than I will ever know about those things. Then get registered at performanceboats.com and hang out in the v-drive section. There's more than 50 people on that one section at most any given time.

Hope this helps- tell Rattle Can Lou (Mike) his fame preceeds him...
