hydraulic steering with steering wheel located trim buttons
I recently had hydraulic steering on my boat. How can I keep my trim buttons on the steering wheel?

Not going to fare well. The hydraulic steering doesn't come back exactly to "home" every time. Unless you have a quick release steering wheel that you can re-center now and then, you're best off going with the Teleflex blinker style trim. I have them on a couple of my boats with the trim on left and the jack plate on right. It becomes second nature. It's not like you're fighting the wheel like you would with dual cable steering.

Blinker are good. Just stick your finger out.

Left foot trim. I never thought I would like it but once I got used to it I love it. The only time I take my hand off of the wheel is to adjust the jack which is on the shifter for my setup.
