Merc racing 2-stroke oil. Whats the shelf life?
Found a barrel of Merc racing 2-stroke oil thats approx 10 years old, but I'm a little concerned about the shelf life.
What do you boys think? Safe in a 300x?

The oil should be fine, but check the listed oil rating as they do change over time. That engine looks to be an Optimax. They only run on Merc Optimax oil. Check the label container to see if it's the same rating as required by the engine. Optimax oil is not TCw-3 rated
