I think your right! I try to keep an eye out for the big cruisers so I can anticipate when to look out their big rollers. The first of the two last times he must have came out from shore rather than the usual up or down the lake. Totally caught me off guard because I should have been nowhere near them yet! The next one came out of the blue, and I never even saw a big cruiser, anywhere!! I miss the old days when nobody had the money to buy boats that big!lol I also miss the glassy smooth days where you can see any wave coming, and actually hear the spray coming off the boat! We don't seem to get many of those, and most seem to come in Sept, but our record hot summer abruptly ended that hope! :-(

I had my old twin o/b 24' Sonic out in the Atlantic showing off to some friends and about got bit.
Was concentrating on setting up the boat and not what was ahead.
Launched off an unseen 4' wave at 60+!

was more eye opening than dangerous.
    Never again.

Are they land and sea heads on that motor ???
someone said that the L & S heads have bad water circulation and
that will make the engine overheat, Is that true ???
