Many thanks Jim, was meaning to catch up with you later in the day at Tavares, meant to ask you about Kenny and maybe have a drink and a sing along but like the road to hell, I'm so full of rushing around like a blue arse fly I forget to step off the roundabout and enjoy the company of old friends for a while, was good to see you again Jim-----you look well.

Jackie, missed the boat - so to speak - and my pals.. by not attending Tavares this year. Canadian winter jumped upon us early with seasonal chores and life's necessities getting in the way of visiting with you and the other fine OFF'ers. Lousy excuse, and will try not to let it happen again.

So sorry to hear of your aggro... and Best of the British to you. Hair-up and heal-over soon, but take it bloody easy please!!! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, they say - and quite sure the effects of living a similar, fast paced life to your father places you at risk for the odd wake-up call. Now that the connection's been made, do what needs to be done so that it ends here and now. We all love 'ya, lad... even the rotary fans!

Stay the course... my best to you.

    Rathmell

PS: Is your money on Hamilton tomorrow?

Can't see Mercedes allowing Lewis the title--------they will let it pan out till the last quarter----then the mysterious weedjie bug will strike in the guise of "management system" regretful shame!!!

Jackie my friend. Doreen and I wish you the best in your recuperative period. Get this behind you quickly as we need you back on the golf course next year...and back in the pits regaling us all with your quick wit and wonderful stories. Also, you haven't finished the Cosworth project .......

    Keep the faith......

Thank you to all my friends, Rich, Doreen, Mark, "Tinkerbelle" for all your good wishes, always thought I was "INVINCIBLE " and would go up in a cloud of steam--------(smells nicer than smoke!)
It does scare the pants off'n you when you don't have control over your faculties. I worry now about the " stinky old man syndrome"-------B.O.--------Sam bought me some C.D $100 "ANTAEUS "-----smelly-------hope to God it works, if it don't , think what a terrible waste it would be!!!
Came back from Tavares all gung -ho, with a head full of ideas-------but the shop is off limits for four weeks, Grandson Simon has a CAD program for me to try-----reckons it's a creative aid------but so's a condom and a house brick and a nut and bolt if you dig deep enough.
Havent told the family yet what happened------there's a couple of birthdays this weekend and I don't want to upset anyone, and it wouldn't achieve anything. I'll maybe tell 'em in another week or so when I'm totally lucid and completely over it.
Grand kids will have a field day extracting the urine, which is as it should be, life should be a laugh, to be taken seriously, only in dire emergency and then, only in small doses. There I go, rambling on again , about nothing in particular. Seems like I never had enough time to jot things down before I got busy, with things to do, now I have to go off at a tangent, get another dimension, find a different comfort zone, maybe pester the daylight out of you all,
7am on Sunday morning-----time to get up-----been lying here cogitating long enough.

Get well soon Jackie, that must have been quite a scare. You may like the CAD program once you get the hang of it. At least you can still come up with ideas while you wait for the green light to enter the shop again. Best regards,
    Dave

Jackie - Holy smokes, you scared the crap out of me. I just had Iris read what you said about your symptoms. She said, Thank God you didn't do what many of us Old Farts would have done...that is, to pretend like everything was OK. You did the right thing and, consequently, we still have "Old Cranky" around to entertain us . Our thanks go out to Jill for her quick action. You know that we love you. - Steve and Iris

I think it was all over the minute Lewis came out of the traps 50 yards clear------management didn't have to make a call-----new contract probably signed and sealed.

Stavros, felt a bit like piddling my nappy ( diaper)--- There are those that say I talk dribble most the time. Most of the time I have it semi under control, first time I ever felt incontinentalike.
Jilly was amazing------five minutes from lunch table to examination table. In 3hours flat I'd had the whole nine yards.

Reemember that "German conspiracy" you feared. It was there all right.....but it was aimed at the other guy.

Three failures apiece Rich-----on balance I'd say Lewis had the edge-----can't recall Nico ever making a pass on Lewis during a race------he only ever lead from the front------Hamilton was the one that did the overtaking on at least five occasions.
Still think the Whole F1 shebang is rigged and the "German Conspiracy" is alive and well and BERNIE is as bent as an eleven sided threepenny bit--------he makes Al Capone look like "Noddy".
