2014 IL River Run

Since we missed last year we can't use the "Annual" term any longer. What dates work for you guys? Should we go back to the last bit of July?

For those who've never made it, we run 16 miles downstream to Rocks cabin, or what used to be a cabin till last year. Rock has a BAG (Big Ass Grill) so bring your own choice of dead animal to throw on it. A dish to pass is nice but not required. Lot's of great water to run and a great time. We've had everything from retired Skater race boats to a 11' tunnel with a 50hp. One year it was a mini Hydrostream rally and in 2012 it was an Allison rally.

Pete, your not invited so please show up.

How does everyone feel about July 26th?

They'll be by shortly, I hope. I just had to jump start this thread. Running on the Illinois is just incredible and . When Im at the Joliet plant in the summer I usually bring the orange eyesore and burn two tanks around Morris before heading home. Its running great now with the new motor, and trim that actually works. And got me some SRX's to try, I think one is worked by Spinelli Brothers.
