Anyone know the part # for the metal cage rod bearings for 2.5 260 w/818141 rods?

When I was looking for them a few months ago I had heard the same thing. The OMC parts equivalent turned out to be even more expensive. I ended up going with the pro marine aluminum cage equivalent. Sorry, dont have the part number.

There seem to be three different bearings. Some may be repackaged under different brand names. One is the plastic cage standard fishing motor bearing. The next is the aluminum cage bearing which is the next step up and from what I gather are good up to 8K or higher. The steel cage 260 style are the spendy ones that according to some sources have some problems with being brittle in the cages and cracking.
