Barney, I ran 110 on GPS at 8800 rpm with a 26 Yamaha, then the fuel pump relay took a dump and stuck 2 pistons, good day gone bad!!!!!

Don't run a relay , run a 30 amp rated Cole Herse switch and 10 gauge tinned wire on a 30 amp fuse . Pump draws 13 amps . No relay bs . Sorry for the seizure Billy !!
Barney might be in going Mahi fishing in May this year . Will have the slow pig Mako so I'll stay in Islamorada somewhere .Last edited by Tom Foley; 01-11-2014 at 04:30 PM.

Well, For Several Years, We've Called It The May Action Keys Run. You Can Look It Up..Most Of The Guys Put In In Key Largo At The Carriabian Club Boat Ramp And Run Down South To The Islamorada Sand Bar. It Happens The Weekend After Mothers Day. Use To Catch Some Of The Bartenders Bash Straglers But, The Local Water Cops Have Long Since Run That Group Off So, We All Just Kind Of Hang Out Wishin' For The Old Days To Come Back...Never Will Happen...Great Run! Weather Can Get "Iffy" So, Be Prepared!!! Wouldn't Miss This One !!!

Folks if you spend couple extra $$ stay at the hilton in key largo, killer rooms, beach like setting with great views, you can even dock your boat and anchor outside out side the jet ski rentals in back of hilton if anyone wants to come up for a great rum runner!! It is worth it, only place i stay in key largo!! Will be fun. Brian

This is a great time. Missed it last year, but should be back in for this year. Last time I stayed at the Chesapeake Resort, great floating dockage, and protected from the weather.

Yep.
The wife and I were married on their beach. Fantastic facility and the elevated, open air tiki bar is way cool.
Killer pool and one of the nicest beaches in the area.
Barney, I'm jonesn bad for a Keys fix. Trying to put together funds + schedule now.
Will keep you posted.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
