Project Dan O #1

D.ONEAL's XT fresh out of gel finally. After a new layer of gel on the pad, a complete re-finish on the transom as it was 100% cut out going in, new gel on the dash that Brian filled, lots of wet sanding and buffing, and some serious sharpening on the back half of the XT, I can say it's better than new. Dan can attest to that as he bought it new 25 years ago

! Time for the new trailer, some rigging, and LOT's of accessories so she's on the water by the time it's warm

I figured I would crawl out of my hole and post some progress for Dan. Now that the Vegas is back in our hands we can really make some progress on it. The gel turned out awesome and it literally is like having a brand new boat.

I started this project with a picture of what I wanted in my head and Josh, Brian and gelcoater have gone beyond what I had in my mind. I could not be happier with the way it is going. My wife and I have owned this boat since 1986 so we know what we liked and things that we wanted changed and everything is going to plan. Looking forward to making some Power Tour stops in 2014.

Ok so where does the list end? I just want to get my boat to match my new emblems I made for Dukes cowl I'm restoring.
