Sometimes liife is full of funny ironies. I'll get my post count up when I have something of value to contribute, (or more likely, an noob question about 'Streams or boating). no big hurry. This was right after I got my boat, as a lot of you probably know, it needed a lot of work. If it wasn't for my best friends, Mark and Brian, this boat would probably still be sitting in my driveway falling apart.

This is the boat now and this boat will never leave me. I love this boat and I couldn't thank my friends for all they did to help me out and push me to make this boat what it is today.

The reason is, 99% of the spam bots that would sign up would post links and they would try once and if it fails they would sometimes try again and after the first or second fail they would give up so in turn, the board would never get spammed with posts containing a bunch of links to spam sites. You can make any kind of posts, just nothing containing any links until you have at least 3 posts. Just all in a days work to keep things spam free and so far its been working great.

So, I'm sure most of you have seen my Ventura in its build thread. For the new guys, here is what it looked like when I got it and what it looks like now. This hull was heading to the dump when I saved it. Quarterhorse and I literally winched this hull out of a yard onto a trailer. There was nothing left. Only the bow and stern lights were there other than fiberglass. Quarterhorse was a HUGE help in the restoration of this hull. I will return the favor when he wants to get going on that vamp. I hope to bring it to a HSPT event this summer and share the water with you guys.
