It's cool bein everybody's hero and u feel like a bad ass because u know u hav a tunnel and not many people are gonna out run u ..... But I really prefer the stream u don't hav many people ask about it ..... And when they do they're like u catch any fish ....? And I'm like no.... I prefer it that way .... And if someone does know what it is they giv u that look like .... Oh yeah I know .....

Yep, I love my Mirage, but at 100 it isn't as much fun as my Vectors were at 85. Still contemplating redoing my Ventura, but The Vector is and always will be my favorite Stream.

Happy new year fellas.... new year hopefully I can get my comp vector done this winter and might give a go at a behind the liner v4 for it... dono if it will like my 3.3 lol mirage does pretty good with it and that light little v bottom would be a scary ride with it... but might just have to try it
but thinkin a nice worked 12" v4 with the same spec as my tree.tree would be pretty fun
was just gonna post that good lookin rigLast edited by BeefKid; 01-04-2014 at 01:45 AM.

anyone know this guy?
this pic looks a LOT like my neck of the woods. anyone know anything about this viper and it's owner?
It's from this page in the Hydrostream forums:
http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/vie...tart=60#p17928
but they won't let me ask about it there, because their spam bot doesn't think i have enough posts over there to link to pictures. bummer. not sure what to do about that, but i'd sure like to meet another hydrostream owner in my neck of the woods, (southern cal/colorado river, southern nevada), ESPECIALLY this guy.

All you need is 3 posts and you can post links over there so just go say hello and make a few other posts and your all golden.
If you need any help over there just let me know.
Just encase anyone forgot what my vulture looks like, this is the last good picture I took of it when I was getting some good progress done with getting the core all in. And yes, that is Chets Viper in the back ground.
Should be on the water this summer some time hopefully. Have some help possibly lined up for getting a lot of things squared away with getting this thing wet this year finally.-Kevin

today's work on the v king:
beefed up the stringers..... lowered the front seat... and added a rear seat box. (I know what you purist are saying..."its a vking COMP!"... but that's whats cool about streams, you can make em how you want em) gotta have a spot for a pretty blonde to sit.

Just need to finish putting some mat over the rest of the core (Have all of that, just need more resin), only about 25% of it is covered right now, Put a bulkhead or two in, put the floor down, trim down the transom and build the deck where the splashwell used to be, then flip it over and get the bottom all fixed. That is where my major help should be coming in. Really good friend of the family owns a boat repair place (Same owner in the same location for almost 40 years - http://www.georgesrepair.com/index.html ) about 15 miles from me and he might take on the task of getting the bottom all fixed up for me. Then all that will be left to do is hang that 235 offshore rude on it and rig it and put the windshield on I have been guarding with my life so it doesnt get broken on it and go play. Sounds like a lot but im pretty sure where im at, a few good days and I could have the floor in and maybe another day or two on that splashwell. I have all the materials to get it done other then the resin so hopefully I can get a good week or two of nice dry sunny days with some nice warm temps sooner then later.
