Thanks so much to everyone for all the hard work, I dont think anyone can dispute the quality and craftsmanship, As you can tell we are going to far exceed the safety requirements. we definetaly have the power and are able to build not worrying about the weight. As I have said before this will not sit on the shelf we fully intend to race as much as possible. Going to paint and then ready for the fun part the testing. Happy New Year to you all.

Well instead of going out partying yesterday / last night , I thought my time would be better spent putting the pieces of the rear section of the frame together. I didn't want to use up a bunch of time making it out of heavy box tube with non mitered corners , crooked uprights , heavy gusset plates, all finished off with ground down MIG welds , so I just built it out of light weight aircraft tubing the first time ..

Anyway, I'm not a boat builder, just a stupid welder. They told me to fill this black hole ..

So where it skinny's down in the front, I did the same ..

Where the drivers legs and lower torso will ride, every box has a diag bar thru it to make a series of triangles. Under his butt is a X to make four smaller quadrants.

Where they put a body line below the drivers helmet is where we will tuck the "helmet bar" that ties the upper part of the cage together ..

It's really not my place to show or talk about sponson's, their attachment points, the rear deck or anything else outside of the main fuselage .. But I cant help but think that from within the 200+ mph view , there is more than enough room to get comfy ...

And I think the glass guys in here will say that this is a quality built part , pulled from a dedicated mold. I know my local carbon guy says that to get carbon to bend into tight area's , you have to vacuum bag it .. this looks pretty tight to me ..

Last one .. I love NACA ducts .. I use them to exhaust any pressure building up in the front section of my lawn dart. and two more as air conditioning inlets , they tend to keep the windshield and visor from fogging up ..

Oh boy!!! Chaz been busy !!!!!!

my thoughts are the vacuum bag would have higher numbers is all ,,, both would be really strong either way

Thanks for the hard work Chaz, Looks great. I was working on paint scheme last night. AFR, Glad you said that in tests I have seen sometimes vacum numbers can actually go backwards. My neighbor designs for lockhead boieng and northrop, I have access to a lot of really good info from him, along with the wind tunnel which the boat will also see soon.
