I get bright idea to put the 2.4/SSM on the MX.Job done,we head off to Higgins lake.Things are going well, until my buddy got a good head start on me,not to be outdone I lay into it hard, somewhere around 80 there is a rogue wave and I launch. The boat did a 270 degree endo, and at the same time a 180 roll,at a altitude of 15-20 feet.Anyway it came down going backwords on the tip of the nose. When the engine, and transom finally hit,it stood strait up and took about thirty gallons of water over the transom. The coolest part, other than a bent steering wheel, there was NO damage to man or machine.Would sure like to have that one on tape.
    awesome!!

You can still do that at the drive in in weirs beach new Hampshire. stay in a cottage in the canal, and hop in the boat at movie time. Did that with the glastron I posted earlier. 15 years old, ill never forget it.

Not coolest, but coldest was fishing the upper Niagara river on Dec 15 in a raging snowstorm. My coolest was launching for the first time at the age of 48.

2008, while sitting in my red Vector, a guy named Scott Green ( Jello Shot Scott ) walked over to me and introduced himself, handed me some jello shots. He asked me who else I knew in the area and was surprised I didn't know any of the people who are now known as the Stump Pass Crew. He introduced me into the group and now I have soooo many GREAT friends. If had not been for that Hydrostream, I would have never met any of them. AND THAT IS THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER DONE IN A BOAT!!!!!!

    this situation was way cool:
Keys Doug G. set my wife and I up years ago at his house on vacation. He hooked up a 16ft Checkmate with a 150 Merc to his old tow pig and set us loose in the Keys. We cruised over to Holiday Isle and the sand bar. He told us we could take the boat up to the reef and use his dive equipment (we weren't certified)(we didn't do that one). We went out a couple of times a day exploring the mangroves, It was cool as hell. He also let me loose in his old 18ft(?) Lightning tunnel for a few runs as well.

The generosity of this guy is unreal and I will never forget that vacation!
    Thanks Doug!

everyone was watching a storm cloud coming in all day but it was flat all day seen a few dolphin even hooked up a few then last min i decided to head in over mollases reef just when i did this storm hit with 80 mph winds epic rain and 15 ft rollers in no time the boat had 50 gallons a water on the deck the bilge running none stop no compass and we could not see anything but the boat at this point i decided to hell with the boat i was running it aground if i had to and after a little while of running over these rollers and keeping the stern up what did i see my head pin for pennycamp
end of story we made it back to the dock safe and sound wet as hell

Besides having sex on the boat
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
