Here is a true "green" (stock) motor & boat that is faster:

If we're talking green motors with mods like the SRV with DBR motor, Monty's Etec STV and Ray Leach's Etec STV are way faster at mid-high 120's.

11-20-2013, 06:35 AM #41I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

11-20-2013, 08:02 AM #45Proof can be had at the Parker 336. The Nordic guys will have a few different boats out and running. It is usually fairly fast water, but by no means flat. Bring out the Tuff, Progression, etc. and race in a real race. Motors will be teched to keep everyone honest.
So much for Mercury`s warrenty. I used to want one of these motors. Not now.
