24' Jaws restoration project

The Jack plates are Vance 12" . I have the motors set on 24" centers. I will have to see how much I can trim the motors up once I get them mounted, I know I wont be able to trim out of the water but should have enough trim room for running. I have a set of 2" spacers I can add also if needed.

Thanks Gary for the offer on Control Cables, I have already got them. I hope to have more pictures posted as continue progress, I hope the weather isn't to bad this week.

A little bit thinner than the CMC jack plate but looks to be quality piece. I just couldn't pass up the price of it. I will see how it holds up for lake running. I wouldn't really recommend for offshore running. I think the offshore pounding will eventually tear them apart.

I installed the 2 jack plates today. I hope to have a motor hung this weekend to start figuring out the rigging tubes & steering.

Same hull as Pantera. I don't think they have been building them for awhile. Not even sure where the molds are for them either. 24 x 7 design.

I rode in a 24 pantera to one of the keys run and it cut the water we stayed at 55-58 with one 225 in 1- 2 plus foot chop and stood all the way great riding boat perhaps my favorite. When this donzi is gone I want to upgrade to 24/7 hull.

I am going to run it for awhile with twins , I might end up repowering it with a single 300. depends how it runs with the twins. I am always in for a good project. I do have a 250 sitting around waiting for me to fins a hull for it.

The jackplates are 12" setback, the engines will be able to have full trim but no tilt. most likely going to have to put a bracket on it to get tilt. I will see how the boat preforms with the jack plates & go from there.

Most likely abandoned for a reason either stolen or it is rotted away.
