velocity pad...with lip?
Earlier this summer I blocked out the pad. There were some minor low spots but nothing horrible. The one thing I did notice is that the last 4-5"s did taper off a bit.The velocitys I've been around have all had a hop in the 40-60mph range.I know Allison run a small lip on the furthest edge.I'm wondering if this may help a bit.Or if I should just simply make it continue the same plane its on.

An Allison is a much lighter and smaller boat so I would believe their hydrodynamics are also much different. They do a lot of testing before doing things also. I would keep things straight and play with more setback to help the bow fly and hold easier. Sometimes losing stern weight or shifting some weight forward can help along with trying different props, engine heights, and setback amounts. A small bit of unevenness, hook or roller further forward could also be responsible for ride hop. Keep trying different things.
None of the 21'-22' I know of ever had a rear lip like an Allison either.
