Anybody ever heard of a Foxcraft bass boat? Don't know if it's considered fast for a bassboat but it runs up to 67 mph GPS with a lightly modded 03 xr6 with no limiter. I've looked through all previous posts and haven't seen one like it. I know Foxcraft went out of business in 95 or 96 but that's all I could find searching online if anyone knows anything about these boats I'd love to hear about. I love this boat!

Thanks 1FASTLASER! It is a 1989 and it is 18 or 18.5'. Under the dash it does say 1800 model and hull weight is 800lbs with no tank, motor, or gears so I'm not positive thats just what it says under console. That's all I know about it and I have seen a couple pics of some online but nothing like this one, only seen 15 and 16 footers. I will get some more pics and post them soon. There may be a lot out there idk but I've never seen one. It is missing a windshield and would love to find one or have one made it would really make it look mean! Also from what I could tell there used to be chrome rails around the top on each side that someone removed and filled in the holes. Can't tell from pics but it has purple and orange flakes in the paint this was a beautiful boat when it was new. Will post more pics soon! Thanks

My mistake that was hull capacity 800 to 1200lbs did read somewhere that the 15 footer actual hull weight was around 600lbs.

Nice can def see some similarities to other boats of the time but nothing like the whole bullet blazer and old legend thing.

foxcraft,i remember a mag story done on a handicapped guy that had one, i think they we're made in louisianna (sp) and may have been a rebadged tidecraft after they folded.

If you can take a pic from the rear of the boat at pad level I could tell you a lot more bout what the boat was "modeled" from. The rebadged Tidecrafts when the Tidecraft name disappeared was the Prosecutor and the Lightening. 2 VERY quick boats

Maybe that's why if I don't have jack plate and trim set just right it wants chine walk like crazy! It's not as bad with two people. If it was easier to control above 60mph I could probably do better than 66,67 if I could learn to control it! Lol still have a little throttle left but that's the best I can do. Would hydraulic steering make it any easier?

Maybe but that hull isnt really gonna be very safe to handle at those speeds. Hydraulic would make it easier alll around of ourse but youd still bw fighting the chine walk. Its a curse of fast boats lol

Yes,I agree completely that's bout all I want anyway it gets kinda scary trying to push it like that. Especially with the original cables that came on the boat!!! They do still work fine and turn easy, but I am expecting my sea star system to be at my door any day now. Having installed 8 inch Bobs flats jack, solid mounts, bobs tuner, stacks, rejetted carbs, and being able to turn more rpms I ended up with a great fishin boat!

That bottom with any kinda power will be a hand full even ta an experienced driver. It has "0" pad. Isn't built ta run fast. More for ride if that's possible.......

Id say your best bet for a windshield is either make a mould and build it from fiber glass or get some plexi glass and heat it and bend it. Looks like yours would be easy to do.
