WoW!, it's been a while since I saw one this bad. Looks like that ring did a number on that head. I'm not exactly sure you can fix that kind of damage. And then there's structural integrity to worry about. There could be hairline cracks in that head you can't see. If it were my motor I'd try and find a head. Just my 2 cents. Ad I do run an 86 XP 200 Looper just so ya know.

I'd try eBay. I've found alot of rare motor parts on eBay I couldn't find anywhere else. Hey it's worth a shot, what have ya got to lose?

Boat is working out great but with work, and then the weather, and then this nasty cold w/sore throat I've managed to catch I've not been able to take her out with new JP yet.

I have been fishing though, from customer's boats during test runs. I was out last Sunday in a 16 foot Bass Tracker with a 30 hp Yammie. I'll probably be out in that same boat again this weekend. I've invited the boat's owner up to fish our lakes.

I'll be taking her out this weekend weather permitting. However it's kinda cold today (Friday) but hopefully it'll warm up by Sunday. Anyway can't wait to run her with new JP!

That side is the side that always seems to let go too. My GT175 took out the bottom cylinder on that side, and it was every bit as bad as that.

I just got back from a two week jaunt at Okeechobee Mike. Had a great time, caught alot of fish. New jackplate is just what my boat needed. It's alot easier to plane her off now and she even feels a bit faster. Ran my Yammie Drag 4 prop (the one I ran that day with you) most of the time cause I polished my Hyperdrive a bit and spun the hub. The prop's OK but chopping through those roots in Okeechobee's west side (I stayed with friends in Lake Harbor and launched out of South Bay) was I guess toomuch for it. That hub was weak anyway cause the last time I ran the prop here I noticed it slipping a little, but before new JP I thought it might have been old JP too high causing it, well, it wasn't. I had my Hydromotive Quad 4, and my Ron Hill custom over/thru 4 blade cleaver with me also but my Yammie drag ran so well and I just wanted to fish after learning how to drive her all over again, that I just left my drag on for the remainder of the trip. I still have a fuel feed problem but now know what it is. Pickup in gas tank is clogged. Any ideas on fixing that?

Anyway, it will be a week or two until I'm ready to run her here. Have some other maintinance to do. Bilge pump hose is clogged -pump works but nothing comes out, and I want to get my livewells fixed now that I have the valves to do it with.

Also, sprayed the cap with two coats of clear urethane before my trip. I now have a shiny boat, instead of a dull one. Wait til you see her!
