With mine from a dead stop or no wake speed, when you hit the throttle everything is normal up until right before breakover where it seems I ran out of rope like a dog running and runs out of leash, and my bow would rise abnormally high and I'm stuck there until the prop catches enough air to break it free or I wiggle her from side to side a little. Then she breaks over and zooom! -off to the races. What causes this is suction in the notch between the transom and the pad. The cure is to vent it like I did mine I just haven't had a chance to run it yet since I did the mod. Here's a photo or two of my vent: I used 5200 to seal it but I got a very runny tube this time. I made my supplier give me another tube however this has since hardened and I've got a good seal. Hose is double clamped on both ends and I plan to put one of those stainless forward facing vent caps over the outlet. I'll keep y'all posted as I expect her to shoot up on plane now.

Oh I plan to run it as is before I put anything over it for that reason. However that far above the waterline I don't expect any water to come out of it, -but, this is my first experience with a vent. Goin outside here in a few to start buffing!

I wouldn't mind having that address for the windshields. I just put an aftermarket one on mine cuz I couldn't find one and got tired of my eyes watering at speed.

onemoretime mine has a holeshot problem too. However I just vented my hull notch in hopes it will unstick me. I haven't had the chance to run her yet since I completed this mod though. When I do I'll let ya know if it helps.

Not Sure Exactly What It's Called But They Make A Hollow Black Nylon Mesh Tube...For The Lack Of A Better Term...That You Run Everything Through And Zip-Tie It Inside The Cowl Around The Rubber Grommet Where Everything Enters. Also Zip-Tie It Under The Deck Lid Where You Run Everything Together. You Can Find The Stuff Pretty Easy On The Computer And It Isn't Expensive. My XR02 That We Just Re-Rigged Is Done That Way And It's Exceptionally Clean! If You Need Ideas How It Will Look, P.M. Me Your Cell ## And I Can Shoot You A Couple Of Pictures. The Stuff Works Kind Of Like Chinese Finger Cuffs...Push It Together To Expand It, Then Pull It And It Tightenes Up. If It Didn't Look Good, It Would Not! Be On The XR02!! Hope That Kind Of Helps.
