I'm not too familiar with Laser's so I can only guess by the model number. I'd rather be correct though so, How long it that boat? Looks to be about 16' - 17' from the photo but......

Had so many different motors/gearcases we probably wore out 10 sets a 1/2" bolts n nuts and that's being on tha light side. Justa 'bout every Merc V6 'cept a 280. That was next but I let it go before I tried it........

WoW! I can just imagine a 280 on that. I think it would skim across the water on the bullet Two guys sittin on the dock as you fly by: "hey man, what was that?" the other says, "I don't know -you see somthin'" what a ride that would be.....

I've been told by an old racer friend that I should move one of my steering cables to the other side. I of course informed him that wa impossible unless I wanted to pull up my floor again, which, aint happening. He also told me he didn't care for hydraukic steering.

Not hard. Both cables go out tha same side. Only difference is tha location of cable racks. One goes on top of pinion shaft and tha other goes on bottom. Walah! Push-pull............
