    Wicked 223 winter project

I just picked this boat up last weekend. 22'3" and approximately 650lb hull weight. My plans are to cut out the deck starting at the rear of the existing cutout and go 6' forward. That will still leave me 11' of front deck and 5' in the rear including the wings. As of now the plans are to put 2 buckets up front behind a center console and either 2 buckets in the rear with a fold down center step/seat or just a simple bench with a fold down center. I want to keep it as light as possible without breaking the bank. I have a few ideas in my head on how to make this happen. I'm looking for some opinions and tips as far as construction and materials.

Thanks Gary! Hopefully this wont be as long as the Checkmate.... It shouldn't be too labor intensive to do what I want. The console should be the only time consuming part. I want to make it similar to the new dual center console Gambler/Sterling.

Unfortunately not..... I got way too busy this winter. I managed to get the motor rigged. I'll be able to run it as is this summer. I'll try to get back at it again in the fall. The most work I did was keeping the snow off of it.

The console looks good. Can't wait to get back on mine. I'm gonna do some fishing with it this summer then start back to work on it in the fall.

2013 Wicked Custom Boats 223 Pad Vee Race Model. It's a one off custom build by Todd D in Florida. It's a very light and fast hull.

Not too sure. You'd have to ask Todd.

I have a lot of glassing to do yet. Still need to build the console. Hopefully it will be done in a few weeks.
