Very nice..........I like it!!! That's kind of the shape of the one you took off? I would stretch the bottom out till it hit the deck, that would look nice, then I would add a rear motor fairing like a Alison has.

I got side tracked on a couple home projects, then we got hit with our wonderful PA winter! I'll post up more progress in another month or so.

Ok Dave, it's time for an update, we've given you 3 months of slack, it's time to post up some progress pics......
All kidding aside, I totally realize how one can become over whelmed with projects like this, I thought I'd be on the water by now myself, but "NO", still work'n on it in between all the other home stuff that needs to be done, but every night possible, I'm work'n on it little by little.

I know I've been slacking.... I actually did some work to it last weekend. I block sanded the console and started rigging the dash. Got the steering helm mounted and the gauge holes drilled out. I need to get a couple short extension hoses for the steering and just finish some wiring. I'm going to put white epoxy primer on the sanded parts and get it on the water. After I decide that I'm happy with the design I'll do the rest of the finish work.85 Checkmate Starflite
