What is a Land & Sea lift; shore station or Jack plate? What is the cord on the floor under the steering wheel. Does this have a hotfoot or control box?

Any problems, scoffs, gouges. Is there a stereo?

The jack plate is a Land & Sea brand it is aluminum and has the hydraulic pump mounted in the boat.
The foot pedal is the dual type you can use the foot pedal or the control.
The cable on the floor is from the foot pedal the cable can be slid over to the right.
It has a stereo, there are not any problems with the boat everything works.

How did you get the hook up to use both of the controls?

The foot pedal is made by Land & Sea and it has a nice feature. If you are pulling a skier and you want to go faster in a turn you can use the foot pedal to go faster and when you let off of the pedal the rpm returns to where you have the control handle set. I don't think they sell them anymore but it is really well built.

I remember this thread from last year. Wow, that's all I can say is Wow, to quote Steve Martin.

I wonder if the boat saw a lot of action this summer. Is the owner happy.

The boat is still on Shawano Lake the new owner has used it a lot this summer and far as I know he is happy with it. It is different seeing my old boat go by I always drove it and never saw it from the shore.

The Lightning ET lab finish 28 pitch was the best all around prop 100-101 mph at 6300-6400 rpm I had the Sportmaster lower unit with 1:62 gears. The 30 pitch was about a mile or two faster 101-102 mph at 6100-6200 rpm but took longer to get there. If you have the vegas I would think the 30 pitch would be good since I had the tall windshield with seating up front.

I actually have a Vantage XT, so its a little heavier in the bow,and I have the smaller windshield, Sounds like the 28 is the way to go....Did you ever run a BBlades blaster? Ill be using a sport master with 1.62 gears in it....Set back is 12 inches at the moment, I guess Im going to try the 3 liter there and see how it handles, it may be to much weight that far back, but the bow weight may compensate for it....
