30 pitch cleaver or 30 pitch chopper?
I want to know what would be better on a 4 seater mirage with a 2.5 200 which would make it faster 30 pitch cleaver or 30 pitch chopper

Cleaver would be better in a long run by yourself. Chopper would be faster in a short run 3/4 of a mile. Chopper gives boat more bow lift. Cleavers lift the stern.

Use an ET... The best of both worlds.
Yamaha Drags work good too, especially for holeshot and acceleration.'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI

Set up and altitude are big factors, seen boats that run great with cleavers at below 1000' once you get to 14-1500' the cleaver wont work. The air gets thinner and air is not as hard so the bow lift of the chopper is needed at higher altitudes.

With that limiter, sounds like a newish 200. Maybe an Opti?
Run the chopper with that motor. If you end up removing the limiter then you might try a ET or Cleaver.> Stainless steel Merc cowling plates - $110 shipped TYD - LINK <

Its an a 2002 200 Efi with a 9 inch set back, running the prop shaft a half inch below the pad, with a sport master fat shaft 1:87:1. Also who would I send the rev limiter to for them to remove and where are they located I've been trying to find someone to do it ?
