Was a Merc calender several yrs back that had an A Bote on one month that you could see all the way under the pad. Not much prettier than an A Bote on it's pad and that was one of the best shots of one that I've seen.
    Don't remember who it was.

Here's a couple more of my favorites. Both Coon asses.

I think this one is Bobby AKA "DaBull" doing what he does as good as anyone on the planet. I believe thats his full zoom 2.5 w/a blue bottle hooked to it on T-Rex's 250 lb Laser. Only boat I ever declined a chance to drive.

Louisiana's own mad scientist, one Mr. T-Rex and his Laser w/Chrysler (Chizzler) power. Has the Mrs w/him "Honey, I promise to take it easy"

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

The last one of Rex trying to stay above and ahead of the Aluminum Jungle is a classic. Stress points perhaps unthoughtof by the designer, but... wth?

Every time you look at that hull you notice something else screwed to it.
I remember meeting him the 1st time and one of his buddies was telling me you could always tell his street cuz there was no stop sign.
He then pointed to Rex's drag plate. You could still make out the "S and T" on the bottom of it

Hi, i have a 14 ft. Excalibur. The length of the pad start to take shape about 48 inches ahead of the transom, with the last 12 inches being almost flat. It measures 8 inches wide. Hope this helps. Kcl.
