GT-150 in the water after sitting over 20 years

I finally got the GT-150 in the water this last weekend. I was able to get a whole 34 mph out of her. The motor runs pretty good but I am still trying to fine tune the idle mixture.

This boat had sat in a barn for over 20 years before I found it.

Nice, There is one for sale (Red and White) that I have been driving past for a year or so. It looks great from the road, looks bad up close. Nice ride!

Cool old school ride. Got a 200 Looper that'd look nice on the back.

LOL. I don't know why I have a soft spot for these boats. They feel like riding a go-cart compared to a car and they are absolutely terrifying at speeds over 55. They are just a fun little boat to cruise a lake with but I wouldn't want to be in heavy chop in this thing. I used to have a gold flake 1980 GT-150 with an '86 115 inline on it but this one is in better shape. I have to say those old electric shift OMC outboards sure shifted a lot smoother than the newer mechanical ones.
