New Pro Max props?
Has anyone ordered or received one? Or had a chance to try one? I purchased a 28 and am waiting on it to come in. I also purchased a 28 drag 4 from Wildman so hopefully it will get in soon so I can try it out. I'm curious to how they will compare. I also wanted to try a Pro ET to compare with but it will have to wait. Steadily adding to the list of tried, searching to find the true. Btw these will be going on a Triad V21 Malibu with a 225 pro max.

Just ran a 28 promax this weekend,unbelievable acceleration,3 mph faster then my best prop.

Coupe 427,Have ya tryed a 28 Performance drag3? On your combo i think youll like it alot!! Great from idle to wot and every were inbetween. I like mine better than the drag4,s Ive been running and most every other prop ive tryed. Ive had some really good Off Shores from Steve Smith also. i liked the ones he did from Mazcos the best.

No I haven't tried a drag3. Id like to though. With what I've run so far I've found the 4 blade props to run a little bit better. Maybe because of the added bow weight?? I do have a worked 25 Chopper that runs pretty dang good just not enough on top. I was running a 29 Spinelli drag 4 to 84mph but would blow out. It didn't have too much more left in it but at the time I was running a coned 200 lower without a blowout ring or torque tab. I am now running a sporty but found 2 of the blades cracked before I could see if it would run any faster. I also have a 31 spinelli drag 4 that I need to have the hub pressed in more so I can try it out. I have a 24 offshore that was cut from a chopper that runs ok. Slips out of the hole but pretty good otherwise. It actually runs better on my 184SS Baja than the Triad. Also have a Hydromotive OT4 that bogs out of the hole until the exhaust snout comes out of the water then it screams. Its been worked by DAH and a fabulous prop. Ran a 30 cleaver and couldn't get over about 45mph because the bow wouldn't come out of the water and was darting all over the place. That test session didn't last long. Part of me wants to try a Mazco but after finding a blade off one laying in my lap Ive shied away from them. Maybe one day Ill come around. Originally Posted by whipper

When I get mine, chances are pretty good it'll make it on a V21, laser, 18 liberator and maybe Euro, stratos and Baja.
