Never say Never my Friend,,,
I'm putting my MOJO on this deal and envision it coming back even bigger and BETTER than ever! I would cherish the oppritunity to round the bouys there again, first place I ever got to "hang it out" in my dads outboard vs a jersy speed skiff, I had him down the straights, but that thing would turn as fast as it went straight good times It seems like this deal will happin in the not to distant future plan to be ready to live it real time, fun out

best thing tha ever happened to the ford PINTO was putting the motor in those hydroplanes...

judging from the foliage on the banks I'm thinking that's prior to the "Pinto" era, 70-71 producton intro, after that cab over designs really started to be the front runners, and belive me to run at Miami in an event, you were the upper eschiolon of the fleet. but I have been wrong many times b4, fun out

Great to see the stadium revitalized. Went there a lot in the late 60's early 70's. Dad was buddies with the local boat builders. Bob Hewes in particular.
My old man evidently had the only portable decibel meter in town. He became quite popular when the city started setting noise limits in canals & the Miami River, etc.
Regardless. It's a really cool place. And if you've never been there you should go.'71 Glastron V153 - Composite rebuild - Unceremoniously wrecked
'81 Baja 15 SS - "nine-paged" '77 140
'81 Carlson C500 Metric - Currently in foster care
'70 something Speedcraft - Allison 16R clone - Undergoing restoration
'79 Carlson CVZ 19 - Far back burner
