New jet boat?
I've been thinking really hard about getting a jet boat - low profile style hull maybe 18-20' with a big angry V8 in the back. Of course, every single boat I find for sale like that is from the 70s. I'm more curious than anything, (a new boat is not in the budget!) but I'm wondering if you can still buy a new boat like that? It seems like all the newer speed boats I ever see are much larger, heavier, and deeper style hulls. Are they still being made?

There was a guy in Whitmore Lake MI selling new low-provile v-style jet boats under the name BAMCO, but I'm not sure if he's still building them.
