    Time capsule

Thought I would share this story with other boat enthusiasts. A buddy managed to find a brand new 1976 Kindsvater V-drive flat bottom boat. It was bought new in 76 out of the factory and brought back to KY then never touched again. The boat has never even had a hole drilled in it. The seats and center colsole still wrapped in plastic. He also got all the parts including a 454 to finish the project. Everything is there, just needs to be put together. He even has the original receipt for the boat and trailer. Its been in storage for almost 40 years, this has got to be the only one left untouched. I only have one pic of it that I will put below.

I don't care what kind of boat it is, that's the coolest find I've seen in years. The LAST thing I would ever do is race it It's a museum piece, and should be preserved.

More pics!!!!! Have any details on the story of why it was never used?

I strongly disagree, boats are meant to be used , not ''Terzianned''!!!

I strongly AGREE! There are plenty of used rigs out there to run. It would be great to have a museum with one of each "species" preserved for the future. IMO Gary
