6th Annual Three Lakes Shootout: June 21st & 22nd Bigger 'n Better Than Ever!!

Yes it's true...... Even though we still have 2 feet of ice, we sincerely believe it may have melted by the time the Shootout comes around in June! Keep your fingers crossed. We are planning another great event for this year & look forward to seeing many of you once again. Friday the 21st in the afternoon will include the annual tour of the lakes which continues to grow every year, followed by the VERY popular lineup of the beautiful boats at Bonnie's Lakeside Restaurant from 5 to 8. (HydroStream Ally seems to be growing every year, BTW!!) Speaking of Bonnie's, we have reworked the food issues & think you will be pleased with a nice buffet type meal for the racers.

As usual the racing fun begins Saturday morning with the Driver's safety briefing at 10 AM at Anchor Marine adjacent to the Sunset Grill. Also as usual any of the Drivers can store their boats in a locked, indoor marina either or both nights by calling Pauly "Walnuts" Aschenbrenner at Anchor (715-546-8333) as just another free benefit for coming to our event. Doing so really frees you you up so you don't have to worry about the boat every night since it is completely protected from weather & people. The racing goes from 11 to 5 PM, followed by fun, food, libations, music & lots of bragging at the Harbor Campground for the post racing party. We sure hope to see you there at the signature fundraiser for the Three Lakes Fire Dept. The new Fire House is up & operational just a mile from the race course, so now our job is to continue buying equipment for it! We couldn't do this without all of your help.

    See you in June guys!

    Hey Michael,
Thanks for the effort! It sure means a lot to us in the land "colder than a mother-in-laws love"!! Let us know of any suggestions or needs to improve our event.

Cool spectator event too. The way it's laid out and run... top notch. Beer always tastes better in the northwoods! I'm making the trek north for this event, if I'm not already living there by then

If this weather keeps up, the snomobiles might be the main event. I can't wait for June to come, this event is the highlight of my year. Thanks to all of you that keep it going.

I know three or four but dont plan on racing since the only class that allows multi engine boats is unlimited.....
