First hand experience, with a 150HP Johnson GT150 on it with hydro plate and loaded to fish we saw about 68mph. Never ran it light or surfaced the prop. It is the almost the same hull as the LTV, just heavier. So it depends on what motor you put on it. I would say close to 100 with a light load and a 280 on it. All things being perfect.

My buddy had one . It was the VT - Rocket 20 ft boat . It was so so at least . I was told they was to heavy to be a true Tunnel hull boat . And a lot of people didn't know how to drive one .So Stratos ,didn't want blow over and pull the plug . For Ins reason's.

I have a VT 180 Rocket, totally gutted all the wet foam, new floor and transom. I hung a 275 V8 on it, and so far it's been a dissapointment. Top speed so far is about 78 mph.

Bill being good enough to let me try his boat all I can say is it rides and drives like a Cadillac. The ride is so good you don't notice the speed.
