I have been cheated by MICHAEL SCHULTZ. Gaffrig Performance. I bought my two instruments for Mercury outboard. After a few months do not work. Voltmeter crazy. Tachometer off the scale. Chrome jump seem worse quality of Chinese instruments. In May of this year I purchased Bezel and new flat rim. After two months I have not had any news. Do not respond to email. not answer the phone. They always say that it is out of the office. is a small swindler from just a few dollars.

Either you're lucky or you're his friend. I have the exact same your tools. They do not work after two months of use. The chrome popped off. Completely oxidized.

They did hook me up with new gauges, but unfortunately after only 1 year chrome is peeling off again and they look crappy. :-(

All Ill say is this. I used to be a Gaffrig Dealer. But I no longer am by choice. YES Gaffrig is Chinese made. He has to buy X amount to get stock. So if something goes bad and its not in stock to replace YOU WAIT till another container comes in from China.
I tried to become a Autometer Marine Dealer but that fell through. Autometer wants you to maintain X amount of stock and do so many Thousand $$$$$$$$$ of business a year. regardless IMO Autometer is my preffered choice for Marine gauges.Bud Conner "Heathen" "Defending Our Constitution"

Automeeter Marine ...... Made in USA. Great quality. Livorsi perhaps build from Autometer ago .... I do not know. I live in Italy and do not know the American market. Livorsi is currently the best of seriousness as a company and as quality.
Gaffrig was quality before the bankruptcy, in the years 80-90. Mr. Livorsi has worked with Mr. Gaffrig.
