i think this system is better than idraulic system because the pulley steering system is fast and accurate
    how do you think???

2)with this system as you see in the pictures the red cable, i can put the trim and jakeplate command in the wheel whit out bob's machine switch

    3) today arrived in my house the raker prop 14 1/2 x 20Click image for larger version.

Love the video! Let's see more pictures with the jackplate mounted. The engine is very low in the first set of pictures. Jack it to the height you start out with. Highest point too. Nice looking boat. Wish I knew what your passenger was saying. Haha.

Make sure the pulley steering is sufficiently strong, you don't want anything to let go at WOT.. I do not have experience with pulley steering.

Have you tested the boat already with the new steering system?

Also I think the 20p Raker will be not enough pitch! Don't rev the engine to the moon

Hey Roye.... =) I'm not in sicily, i can't test the boat =(

in 2011 it was mounted the pulley steering sistem with an evinrude v4 115 90°
i love the pulley steering sistem, the wheel was very very accurate and very very light to rotation , but all hands must be attached to the steering.

an person definite by me ignorant said it was a driving dangerous and unreliable, and i more stupid then him,,,, i listened to the his ignorant advice and bought the idraulic steering sistem.

the inox cable of 4 mm can be support 900 kg , in the pulley steering sistem his stress maximum is 40 kg by dividing in two cable...

i think it is very strong!!! correct me if i'am wrong

about the pitch with michigan ballistic p 21 i do not pass 5000 rpm, i think raker p20 can't pass 5500 rpm

we could talk of this only when i test the boat next month

powerlift gauge is a good idea, a bit old school but very effective and very easy to see
you need a much bigger propeller than a 20p, that engine needs a 24p maybe more.

You have to drill through the inner exhaust housing!

I would drill 2 x 1 inch holes on the inner exhaust , then if you don't like this its easy to weld back up.
also you can put a flap on the bobs if you want it to be quiet at times !!!

getting flames just means too much unburnt fuel. again looks effective ha ha

Unless I've got really bad eyesight and missed it, might be a good idea to have some water running through the engine if you are starting and revving it out of the water or you'll trash your water pump.......................

If you've got bad eyesight.....so do I. I thought the same thing........where's the water?

IN all seriousness, you should probably check your impeller now. You may have damaged it. It doesn't take much to hurt them. As for those electronics you showed, I don't think you're gonna get the results you are looking for. It's not going to increase your power any. You need the engines ability to make power with propeller "x" with pitch"x" and be able to turn that same prop faster.......that requires horsepower to that, not electronics. You can get a lower pitch prop and spin it that fast, but it won't make you faster. I've tried that before. It make work for you, but I don't think so. I am not saying that I understand prop dynamics completely, but I don't think that you are goin in the right direction with swapping out electronics.

The engine was running without water for only 23 sec, isn't a problem for impeller!
