Wanted: 1995 90 crossflow wiring diagram.

This is the last thing I need to get my basket case finished and be ready for my runabout in the spring. Wiring is MUCH different than my 1984 crossflow was.

Everything! There are a lot of plugs and male/female connectors that don't seem to go anywhere. Also the low tension coil wires are all the same colour except for one. I need a diagram.

That should be the standard old style harness with the red plug. The only spare connectors you might have dangling would be a 4 or 5 pin amphenol for the VRO if the VRO is disconnected, three bullet connectors (red, green and blue) for the pan mounted trim switch if there's no pan switch, two bullet connectors for the remote oil tank if it's disconnected etc,,,, The coil wires are usually striped with green and blue, you may need to slide the black sleeves back a little to see the stripes on the wires because the exposed wires lose the stripes from someone spraying them with CRC or something. Green is the bottom coils and blue for top. Some of them will be just a blue stripe for the top with no stripe for the bottom.

Thanks flabum, that helps. What designates port and starboard coils?

Just looked, one pair is as you said, one of the wires on the other pair seems to have had a red stripe???
