7 peddle or 5 peddle for mild tuned 240 Sport Jet???
I've done quite a bit of research on this already but nothing i find really pertains to my application, so i had to start another 7 or 5 peedle reed thread, sorry. Anyways i'm about to put my 240 sportjet back together. mild modifications, 15 over, Jay Smith cut the front half of the motor, other little bits here and there. mine came with the dual stage yellow 7 pedal reeds in it. generally what i read around here is the 5 pedal rubber coated will be better for lower end-mid range. So i believe the 5s will be better for my application, however i talk to a some people who are very adamant about leaving the 7 pedals alone. being that this motor wont be over 6300-6500rpm should i go with 5 pedal or keep the dual stage 7?
Anyone want to trade some 7 pedals in good shape for 5 pedals?
thanks guys

You'll be fine with your 7 petals,if you want single stage reeds for them we make them,The 5 petal uses single stage,Chris
