In todays World do it Face to Face.
Hook up by Web Cam on Skype or Ichat and show them all you want.

Check with Buyer and see what tech they have.
Maybe they don't have an IPhone, they may have a Mac Computer.
That works too. Cheaper then a Survey.

I sold one of my STVs to a man in Canada. Take as many pictures as you can. Take pics of the boat, take pics of the motor, take pics of the trailer, and then take pics of the pics. I sent a multitude of pictures and we communicated via email and phone probably 25 times or more. Communication is incredibly important and as someone stated earlier, honesty. He came to get the boat and was very pleased as was I cuz the boat sold. He still has it to this day.

i agree with rock, tons of pics/video detailing anything that you think might raise an eyebrow, honesty pays off
pay pal will also hold his money before releasing it to you so he can be happy with purchase, protects him but shipping a boat back and forth would be a pain good luck

We sold a stv that went to canada. The buyer came and picked it up.. Being a boat dealer we made sure he had everything we mean everything documented. Customs let the boat thru but held up the trailer for like 14 days. They even searched the internet to make sure they were paying the proper import taxes.

We sold our last (new) Fountain to a couple of guys from north of the border. They had to get a hotel room at the border so they could stay overnight. It took that long to sort everything out from a Customs standpoint. The boat was perfect. The paperwork was a nightmare.
