    Great avatar Tom!

Would be interesting to see how many HP's actually make it to the prop.
As far as price, I was in their booth a couple yrs ago w/some engineers from a local builder and they were doing the math on the spot. Twin 250/300's Vs a single 7 or triple 225/250's Vs twin 7's. Don't forget to add the controls/rigging/labor for each additional motor.
Also, I would expect their target market to be the 40'+, custom boat buyer in the $300K+ range so an additional $10K would be nothing to those guys plus to be able to pull in in the Abbaco's in one.....
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Cool and all but most people can't care less about them. The small income guy is being run out of boating. Show me a new motor that is relatively light and doesn't cost your first born. Kinda sad what is happening to boating, mainly the smaller boats.

Hey Gary, I was in their booth yesterday and asked the same question. The response was 557. I made sure to clarify that it was PSHP and the guy said yes.

Yep, The trans is basically a single speed automatic made up of a single wet clutch pack. Think Velvet Drive trans...

They posted 81 mph on their Faceboook the other day. Still, that's damn good for 2 motors on a 38' Fountain, considering it took 4 300XS motors to get that boat into the mid 80's.

I find it hard to believe that. The engines are rated at that not bolted to anything and making all those 90 deg turns thru all of those gears is going to drag it down.
