we ran them on bass cat's and 1 ranger.
holeshot was great, handling was great. speed was 5+ slower than a txp.

if i remember the guy with a bass cat puma kept the 25p as a ski and play prop with his family.
the other one went to a guy with a ranger fisherman series with a 225 opti. worked pretty good on that heavy rig.

    Hi!

How will you compare a 3bl TXP with a Tempest? Will it give better bowlift? Can it be run higher?

    Cheers Toffen

the tempest is a great prop.
the txp's run very similar. i do alot of testing between the two.
matter of fact i just ran a z8 nitro with a 225 pro xs. the 26p tempest ran better than a 25 or 26 txp

just depends on what the boat wants.

How is 3 blade TXP compared to a Fury?
I've tried a 24 Fury and it's very fast but i could use a little more bow lift, does TXP offer that?

the fury is much faster on the holeshot.

the txp is known for excellent bow lift.

both are very good props, and i get different feedback comparing them both. some like the fury and some like the txp.
    just depends on the boat.

rpms are very close between the txp and fury.

txp vs a tempest. the txp will drop your rpms.

    Gidday Steve

Running an old 23" Shooter (OMC) to 6000 an a heavier ski boat with a 175 Evinrude. Keen to try something newer,
and I'm hearing lots of good things about your props. A lot of reports say the Shooters were pitched high (ie a 23 was actually closer to a 21)
just wondering what your thoughts on this were and what your recommendation would be. I'd like to keep the rpms around the same.

    Thanks mate, regards to all

the pitch on the shooters is accurate. they are just small diameter props with very little rake to them
making them easy to turn, especially on the newer engines.
if your r's are good with the 23, then a 22 raker or 22 RK3 (power tech) or a 22 txp will be great.
you will need to run any of these props a little higher on the jack plate.
