thanks for the post,doin that at the age of 17, not in those hulls, but the itch is really startin to bug me.
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

Very cool. Check out the on board video from the red boat. They built a 2nd dash a foot farther aft than orig. and converted from side to center steer all while leaving the orig. dash in the boat.
Brilliant.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

was it me or did I see 2.0 liter in the preview? those cerntally looked like 2.4's and 2.5's, could just be me

Awesome stuff Dude. Yeah, the speed limiting rules suck but that is the closet thing to real boat racing we have left in this country.
Proof too that 5 boats side by side @ 80 is way more fun than one at 120 and I know which one I'd rather do.
