I'm getting there4. Just rolled the boat back over after painting the bottom and getting the strut straightened. I'm done painting the white. Next is to "faux paint" the wooden deck and transom. I tested it out on an old jet ski hood, and it looks like it will pass my test. Next I mask off the "wood" and start spraying the gold metalflake.

I'm in south east Mass. I tries to load pictures from my phone but the format was too big. I'm going to try again with my real camera. I also have a 77 GT 150 with a 75hp Evey and a fun jet.

You sure have done a lot of work,,,,,and by that I mean WORK! I've been there on the GT 150 and just recently on this new project.
I replaced both stringers and polished all the bright work. I also am rebuilding the motor for more HP. I"ve been painting and might be done with it in a wek. This is a picture of the work sofar. The deck is painted in a faux wood art. The rest of the insides, rub rails, and transom will be done in metal flake gold.

That looks great. I redid an old Raysoncraft back in the 70's. It had a wood deck on it. I used mahogany veneer on the deck and then cleared it.

Glad this was brought back up. Didn't see it while it was current. While gold metalflake ain't my thing it is very much period correct. Excellent job on the fake wood. I've been dealing with hardwoods and building cabinets for 40 years. Looks good.
