Had the boat out last weekend for the first time. Im a newbie for sure. I mentioned on the facebook page that i had some issues with my bilge hole being below the waterline. It has a 200 hanging off the back with hydraulic steering and hydraulic jackplate. Not sure if the sheer weight is the reason why im squatted down so much. Anyway, need to go pick up an auto bilge before taking it out monday and tuesday. Hoping the old bilge pump was just allowing the water to sneak back in.
Other than that, i was wondering why im so slow getting out of the hole. Have hotfoot and i really had to put it down to get the nose down. But once she did dive down, she took off like a rocket. Wondering if its because of the placement of the Jackplate. What would you guys recommend?

I don't think i moved the jackplate any, so it should be in the same spot. The bilge hole was about 1 inch below surface of water when i was standing in it. I even had my friend move up to the front to see if that would help but it didnt. Even both of us are overweight, it seems like we are not the problem, haha.Last edited by FargoFaster; 07-06-2013 at 11:24 AM.

Holy smokes! If that is under water that means most of the back of your boat is under water too. That should be under water at all with how high up that is mounted. You have a picture of it in the water?

Not yet, im heading to devils lake tomorrow night. For the record, the splash well didnt have any water over flow into it, nor were the "wings" of the boat sitting below the surface much.

Something must be really heavy back there. The wings shouldnt be under water at all. Is the fuel tank in the back? Could try moving it up front if it is. And or the battey(s) also. There are guys with 200s on little vipers that dont sit that low in the water so that motor and stuff should not be an issue. A 200 on a vking is not uncommon at all.
Maybe someone else has some advice too.-Kevin

[QUOTE=rossi;2500229]Does the Power tour sell these shirt ?[QUOTE]
No. These shirts were a gift to all attendees at a power tour stop last year. They were given, as a surprise, by a very thoughtful and generous member. The year before, it was embroidered hats. If you make the trip over, we will be sure to send you home with some cool apparel
